Good morning! Is it Monday already? It’s FA-REEZING here. Winter decided to show up with a vengeance this week.
Did you have a good weekend? Mine was a little lazy. We didn’t have much planned on Saturday, either than getting the boys haircuts. In the afternoon, I mostly sat on the couch and read magazines. However, around 3:00, I was feeling tired and lazy. I needed a little pick me up. So I decided to do a quick 15 minute workout in the living room. Here is what I did:
- 1 minute jogging on the spot
- 1 minute jumping jacks
- 1 minute squats
- 15 reps hamstring curl on stability ball (or hip raises without the ball)
- 15 reps per leg side leg raises
- 15 push-ups
I did this circuit 3 times for a total of 15 minutes.
By the end of it, my heart rate was up and I was starting to sweat a little! But most importantly, I felt invigorated again.
The best thing about this workout is that you don’t need any equipment! You can bust it out right in your living room…my kids were even joining in on the fun!
