Favorite Pins of the Week

Hey!  Happy Friday!  Any plans for the weekend?  I’m still fighting off some sort of cold, so I hope to take it easy and get some rest.  Right.

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while (thank you, I love you!), then you know I’m addicted to Pinterest.  Seriously, if you have not joined this site, let me know and I’ll invite you.  But if you are a fellow pinner, then you know the wonderful ideas, recipes, tips, inspiration, products, etc. that you can “pin” onto your profile.

Recipe I want to make: Starbucks copycat Lemon Cake.

Every time I see this cake staring at me sitting in the dessert display at Starbucks,  I want to inhale it.  But I’m sure it’s about 1,000 calories for a tiny piece, so I restrain myself.  Now I can make it at home!  And of course, being The Fit Housewife, I’m determined to make it low-cal!

Blogging Advice: How to make a better Facebook Fan page.

I’m always looking for ways to improve my blog, and everything else attached to it, such as my Facebook page.  There are some great pointers in here.

Humour: I love this…

I couldn’t have said it better myself!  Vague status updates drives me bananas.  I will unfriend you, beware.

For the Home: Natural cleaner recipes.

I really want to make my own household cleaners instead of buying the “green” ones from the store.

DIY project: What to do with all those Instagram photos.

I love the idea of making a collage out of my Instagram photos!  Better to show them off then have them sitting in my phone.

For the kids: Rainbow Cupcakes.

My kids will love these!
