Weekly Meal Plan

Wow, it’s been a scorcher here this week.  Not that I’m complaining or anything because where we live, we rarely get heat like this.  I’ve had to adjust my recipes so that I can use the grill!  Even though hubby is the one who grills around here, I’ve been the one grilling this week since he doesn’t get home until dinnertime.  You know what they say, “practice makes perfect!”  I think I’m getting the hang of it.


Here are some family friendly and healthy recipes for you to try this week:

Day 1


BBQ Chicken Quesadillas (instead of roasting the chicken in the oven, grill it on the BBQ!)
Steamed Asparagus

Day 2


Chicken Parmesan Burgers
Roasted Green Beans

Day 3

Cedar Plank Salmon

Day 4


Taco Pizza

Day 5


Skinny Steak Sandwich
Fresh veggies and hummus

Day 6


Peanut Butter and Honey Chicken
Sweet Potato Oven Fries
Steamed Broccoli

Day 7

Roasted Chickpea Fajitas

Hone bbq chicken?!! Have you made it before, is it super sweet? I might make this for my Thurs meal…I have chicken to do something with! 🙂

Did you mean honey? No, never tried honey BBQ chicken, but it sure sounds good!

Great ideas! We usually only eat meat once a week so I’ll give one of these a try next week! Oh, if your grilling the chicken anyway, try grilling he asparagus it’s amazing!
