Portion Control for Weight Loss

By Jen Gacek (The Fit Housewife)

Do you find that you are eating healthy, exercising 4-5 times per week but still not losing weight?

If you answered YES, then portion control may be holding you back from seeing the weight loss results you are looking for.  It’s a common misconception that if we eat healthy, we can eat more.  But guess what?  Just because we are eating healthy doesn’t mean we can disregard our portion sizes.  For example, even though I eat clean, I still need to measure out my complex carbs, my healthy fats, and my fruits and vegetables.

Here is my Portion Control 101 Tutorial video…

Great Video Jen, really nice way to explain portion control. Thanks very much. I think it might also be worth mentioning that if people are tempted to increase teh portions then they should first try drinking a glass of water which has the double benefit of a) filling you up and b) maintaining the kidneys and the liver, thus keeping a healthy metabolism and aiding in weight loss and calorific burn.

Keep up the good work. I love your you tube channel!

I might’ve missed this in some weight loss discussions. I have some opinions on this Portion Control, but I need to research more! Your tutorial’s a big help. Thanks, Jen!

By the way, I’ve read in some articles that need to eat only up to 80% full. I’ll also research on that one too. Hope to read/watch more from you!
