Have you been following my health and fitness journey for a while now?

Maybe you’re one of those people who look at my posts on social media and think, “I could never do what she does!”

This post is for YOU!

I have to admit, when I was 221 pounds, I was freakin’ scared to get started with a nutrition and fitness program. I saw an infomercial for P90X and thought that I could NEVER do something like that. It looked way too intimidating for this shy girl. Plus, I was so out of shape, there was no way I could workout for an hour every day. Plus, I ain’t got time for that with 3 kids!! Ya hear me moms??

But, I knew I needed to get started. I started by putting one foot in front of the other, making small daily changes, and believing in myself! One year later, I had lost the 90 pounds! Not only had I lost the weight, I had also changed the way our whole family eats.

This is why I’m so excited for this program, Clean Week.

I wish I had something like this when I was starting out. A program to tell me exactly what to eat, what exercises to do, and how to make this a lifestyle change, not just a week long change.

What if I can’t do the moves? What if I fail? What if I don’t like the food?

Enough of the what if’s!! We need to stop living our lives based on “what if!”

I have news for you…you CAN do this! You can do the moves. You can succeed. You can eat healthy and enjoy nutritious food again.

If I can get started at 221 pounds with 3 kids under 3, then you can get started too!

What is the Clean Week Program Like?

Clean Week is a 7-day fitness and nutrition program that gives you 4 different workouts, a step-by-step meal planner, and 7 days of Shakeology.

Workouts

Clean Week has 4 different workouts: cardio, core, strength and flexibility. Each workout is just 30 minutes long and introduces you to moves from other Beachbody programs. For example, I did the Cardio workout yesterday, and there were moves from P90, TurboFire, Insanity, etc.

All of the workouts are low impact, however, there is also an “intensifier” if you want to bump up your intensity.

You will need one set of dumbbells for the strength workout.

But the BEST news: you don’t need to be a Beachbody on Demand member to access the workouts! They are available to EVERYONE for FREE!!

Nutrition Plan

You will receive a step-by-step meal planner and lots of recipes to choose from. Basically, it takes the guess work out of how to get started with healthy eating.

You also get a 7 day sampler pack of Shakeology which includes 2 chocolate, 2 vanilla, 2 cafe latter, and 1 strawberry. There is also a vegan sampler pack for those that don’t consume dairy.

Most people who join my Drop a Dress Size ask me, “Do I NEED Shakeology?”

My answer? No, you don’t NEED it, but you’ll want it!

I was drinking Shakeology long before I was a coach. Yes, I was totally skeptical at first…I had NEVER paid $130 for a protein powder before! I thought that was ridiculous. BUT…I can honestly say, I have NEVER had such a delicious and satisfying meal replacement shake in my life. And trust me, I’ve tried them ALL! Shakeology is the only one that 1) I can drink on it’s own because it’s so delicious, 2) has NO fake/synthetic ingredients, 3) has that many superfoods.

Great article, even I have to say I personally I have not been in a situation like that where I had to lose so many pounds(respect).With this said I am in the fitness industry and tried many different protein shakes and powders.People should go with a high quality one in order to have results down the road.Too many low-quality products out there.
