Holla! How are you? I still can’t breathe very well. I just wish this sinus cold would go away. At least hubby and the kids are feeling better. Maybe one of them can finally take care of me. One can dream, right?!
I don’t know about you, but chicken is the meat of choice in our household. I try to limit our red meat consumption to no more than once a week. So that leaves chicken, fish, and vegetarian as options. However, I’m not a big fish lover and hubby is not a big vegetarian lover. By process of elimination, that leaves chicken as the go-to meat.
I came across a great recipe for Asian Glazed Drumsticks. After seeing the picture of the final product, I knew I had to try it. But there was a couple things I wanted to change: 1) I wanted to use chicken thighs instead of drumsticks, and 2) use less soy sauce to decrease the amount of sodium.
This recipe was a big hit. We loved the flavour of the glaze. I served it alongside some fresh steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and mushrooms) and then drizzled the remaining glaze overtop the veggies.
I’ll definitely be making this recipe again.
